Made with 100% Organic and Natural Clay. It is a unique product that we have handled for decades that results in a Pink-fired ceramic. This is through a unique mixture of national and imported clays of the highest quality to create this unique product that we handle at Tierra de Barro.

To obtain the pink color, it must be burned at a temperature of 1150 to 1200 degrees Celsius. If left to air dry for a few days, it will turn slightly pink. The clay has a medium plasticity to make figures of intermediate format up to approximately 50 centimeters. This clay has the characteristic that it can be fired up to 3 times. It takes on medium hardness when dried. It is a refractory clay. It is ideal for sculptures with hybrid techniques that carry objects different from clay, that is, of another nature. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked.

The difference between the Coarse Pink clay and the Fine Pink clay is the grinding. The coarse is a grinding with a slightly greater thickness than the fine one that allows it to give a texture in large format. Very small lumps are felt that give stability to large pieces. The fine is slightly finer to give an intermediate texture. These two clays come a little thicker than the other clays that we use. You can feel it when using them. The others have a texture similar to talcum powder.

The clay comes kneaded by hand, ready to model and of spectacular quality. The product comes very soft for better malleability. If a firmer consistency is required, it must be left to dry for a while until it reaches the required hardness. The product, when kneaded, must maintain its humidity. It is recommended that once the bag is opened, add a little water before closing it again.

It is ideal for modelling, although our clients also give it various uses and applications. From sculptures to crafts such as school use, workshops, rehabilitation, among others. If you choose to dry it in the environment, the figures can be decorated later with paints such as watercolours. It was designed to measure for great artists as a top quality clay. Once you try it, you will not want to stop using it for your ceramics.

Our products are not toxic. Therefore, it allows you to make pieces such as glasses or plates without any problem. It can be used for pressing and hand modelling techniques. Turning is not recommended.

The product is suitable for children over 3 years old, always under the supervision of an adult since small pieces could be swallowed and could cause some affectation such as asphyxiation like any plasticine or toy.
