White Clay: To obtain the white color, it must be fired at a temperature of 1050 degrees Celsius. If left to air dry for a few days, it will turn gray. The clay has a high plasticity to make figures of recommended format of up to 40 centimeters. It takes on a medium hardness when dried. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked.
Red Clay: This clay is for firing at low temperatures. It is an excellent recommendation for beginner ceramists. To obtain the red color, it must be fired at a temperature of between 800 and 900 degrees Celsius. If it is left to dry in the air for a few days, it will turn brown. The clay has a high plasticity to make figures of recommended format of up to 40 centimeters. A special characteristic of this clay is that it acquires an excellent resistance (hardness) when raw when dried without the need to be baked. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked.
Pink Coarse Clay: To obtain the pink color, it must be fired at a temperature of 1150 to 1200 degrees Celsius. If it is left to dry in the air for a few days, it will turn slightly pink. The clay has a medium plasticity to make large-format figures of up to 70 centimeters. This clay has the characteristic that it can be fired up to 3 times. It is a refractory clay. It acquires a medium hardness when dried. It is ideal for sculptures with hybrid techniques that carry objects different from clay, that is, of another nature. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked.
Pink Fine Clay: To obtain the pink color, it must be fired at a temperature of 1150 to 1200 degrees Celsius. If it is left to dry in the air for a few days, it will turn slightly pink. The clay has a medium plasticity to make intermediate-sized figures of up to approximately 50 centimeters. This clay has the characteristic that it can be fired up to 3 times. It takes on medium hardness when dried. It is a refractory clay. It is ideal for sculptures with hybrid techniques that carry objects different from clay, that is, of a different nature. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked.
The difference between Coarse Pink Clay and Fine Pink Clay is the grinding. The coarse is a grinding with a slightly greater thickness than the fine, which allows it to give a texture in large format. Very small lumps are felt, which give stability to large pieces. The fine is slightly finer to give an intermediate texture. These two clays come a little thicker than the other clays we use. You can feel it when using them. The others have a texture similar to talc.
Melon Clay: To obtain the melon color, it must be fired at a temperature of 1050 degrees Celsius. If it is left to dry in the air for a few days, it will turn a cream color. The clay has a high plasticity to make figures of recommended format of up to 40 centimeters. It acquires a medium hardness when dried. To reach its maximum hardness, it must be baked. It is not a ceramic for kitchen utensils such as casseroles, since it does not resist direct fire as a finished product.
Coral Clay: To obtain the coral color, it must be fired at a temperature of 1050 degrees Celsius. If it is left to dry in the air for a few days, it will turn a greenish brown color.
The clay comes kneaded by hand, ready to model and of spectacular quality. The product comes very soft for better malleability. If a firmer consistency is required, it must be left to dry for a while until it reaches the required hardness. Since the product comes kneaded, it is important that it maintains its humidity. It is recommended that once the bag is opened, add a little water before closing it again.
It is ideal for modeling, although our clients also give it various uses and applications. From sculptures to crafts such as school use, workshops, rehabilitation, among others.
